Nobuhiro Nakanishi
(Self Directed)
His worked is about an object, observing and understanding it while turning it abstract. It is also based on the human figure and how we connect and observe our surroundings. He wants his viewers to look into his pieces and to find themselves, their body and mind, for them to find a place to transport. He choose the idea of landscapes as he believes that the body melts into the space and layers, he feels that the human vision has no limit and that it takes in everything yet it can be distorted.

He uses layers to produce an image,
similar to what I am doing but he uses multiple of them in order to get the
image he desires. The colours he uses are bight and warming, it is drawing you in
and the layering creates a sense that the viewer is at that location when looking
directly through it as with each sheet you see something else. The way that it
is displayed I find interesting as it is coming out of the wall and that you
have to go to the side in order to see through it, this had made me think about how to display my work.
