West End Gallery

Wednesday 13th November 2013

I visited the West End Gallery in Leicester on Wednesday 13^th November, there was space to move around and view the work but some of the 3D work interfered with the 2D.

The artist that I was drawn to was Marie Brown who draws realistic animals that could look like a black and white photography. I personally find it interesting how she manages to create an in-depth image that has tone, texture and detail. I find it intriguing in the fact that she only drawing part of the object which leaves it to the imagination for the rest.
