Crumblin Cookie.

Crumblin Cookie

Tuesday 13th November 2013

I visited a local exhibition at the Crumblin Cookie, Leicester; the Golden Art Show exhibition was situated on the walls around where people drank and socialised so there was multiple objects in the way of fully viewing the images.

One artist that attracted me was the artist Eileen Andersons piece Tomorrow which looked visually appealing as there are multiple layers to the photography. There is background of the trees all distorted then net curtains that create the lines it looks both behind the feather and in front. The main focus is the feather which has all the detail; I find feather lifeless as they just float down to earth effortlessly. I think that Anderson was trying to represent that in everyday busy lives there is a quality of calmness within.
