I was unable to get the name of this artist that was in the gallery but what drew me to it was the calmness of the painting. The colours create the calmness as they are subtle that are blended together effortless. It looks like two separate images the boats on the sand that look old and useless against the contrast of the boats in the foreground that are alive and moving.
