She is an English artist, who at first wanted to focus on animals and wanted to sculpt them. She works in a variety of styles and materials however for small pieces she uses wax and the larger ones she uses clay. She captures the finer details in her work that shows the energy within the piece.

What drew me to her piece is how realistic it is even though there is little to see and a worn out colour makes it look dated. It is positioned delicately on a plank of wood as if it is looking down on the people, judging them as the facial expression is blank. From this piece I have learnt that no expression can create every expression, similar to the Mona Lisa, it is everything else around the piece, even the viewer that determines the emotion.
