He has always been interested in photography specifically focusing on wildlife and landscape. He travels the world to capture the right photograph and in doing this he has learnt that his favourite place is Africa, he wants to show the magic of Africa and the endangered species within its environment.

What I find intriguing about Fowkes work is how natural his images are, he manages to capture a natural, realistic image of the environment that is consuming him. The photographs are powerful as the main focus is composition, focusing on the main and most interesting areas and when colour is added it adds depth and makes it more dynamic. I have learnt from Fowkes is that taking a photo of everyday life can look different through a camera lens then in life, it can make you think what is beautiful after you look back at the photographs you have taken.
