Chooses to focus on the human figure and works mainly in pencil. He was inspired after a visit to the printers. His work is made up of multiple layers, he uses white acrylic paint to create light areas, and uses a variety of techniques such as using his fingers, a pallet knife or a brush. Then to create more depth and a 3D effect he layers acrylic, pastel, enamel and graphite. He wants to create a raw image, that shows the effortless of the female form.

Due to the lack of colour and only part of the face revealed shows the natural beauty of a woman but depending on the angle of the face I feel portrays different reactions from scared to powerful. As the woman is in the centre of the page makes these reactions more defined as the space around her is empty. This has showed me that the slightest change in a persons composition can change the emotion the person is trying to portray and that where they are on a page and what is surrounding it can effect the impact the image gives to an audience.
