She was inspired by her grandparents and their love for the garden, nature and wildlife. Her work is created by linking shapes and natural colours together using the media of glass which she then places back within the environment. She lets the outside consume her, she explores it and develops that in her work.

What interested me was how simple her work is, it is basically built up of colours and shapes. Even the bright colours work within the environment, it does not blend into it even though it is glass and see through. The shape of the waves within the glass are natural as they remind me of waves of the sea, yet its on dry land, this is what is intriguing. It has made me think what different medias can be engulfed by the environment especially in a subtle way and the use of colour, even the bright can work within the flowers.
